Laurel was born and raised in Santa Fe. After some time abroad, she received a BFA from
Washington University in St. Louis and settled for almost a decade in Los Angeles. Laurel
was drawn back to Santa Fe by her desire to be closer to her family and continues to be
enthralled by New Mexico’s beauty and sense of community. Laurel is currently pursuing
her MA in Clinical Counseling from Southwestern College and is looking forward to building
a practice based on her deep love of this land and her belief that our connections to one
another and our natural environment are important tools for healing and wellbeing.
