Therese graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is now an independently licensed Clinical Social Worker. Therese is an experienced and dedicated supervisor with a strong foundation in clinical practice, supervision, and leadership. Therese has a proven ability to mentor and develop clinicians, support ethical and culturally competent care, and guide teams in delivering high quality trauma-informed services. Passionate about empowering both clients and supervisees to achieve meaningful growth.
Therese is a compassionate and empathetic therapist who has extensive experience in treating substance use disorders, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions using evidence-based interventions including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA and CRAFT), Crisis Intervention Prevention, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (C-CPT). Therese believes in fostering resilience, promoting recovery, and supporting clients through complex challenges.
