Stigma Reduction – in collaboration with Presbyterian Healthcare Services – Community Health Department (Free)

This workshop will help participants recognize the negative outcomes that stigma has on persons with behavioral health challenges when they encounter healthcare systems. It will also help participants recognize the importance of using non-stigmatizing language and relational approaches when working with people with MHD and SUD. Participants’ ideas about stigma will be explored and unpacked during the training. Presbyterian Healthcare Services—Community Health Department and Serna Solutions are partnering to provide this important training service on Health Equity (4 CEUs).
