Family Empowerment Project+

The Family Empowerment Project+ is a new approach designed by Serna Solutions to address and inform responses to co-occurring Addiction/Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health Disorders. FEP+ organizes evidence-based approaches such as Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) and Motivational Interviewing to support concerned significant others through a skills-based curriculum. This 2-day training is designed for behavioral health care providers to learn a new approach for supporting community members who have loved ones challenged by co-occurring disorders. This training includes psychoeducation on co-occurring disorders, communication skills training, behavioral change, and motivation skills, self-care for clients, and how to facilitate the navigation of behavioral health services. This 9am-4pm (both days) online training requires a working camera and microphone to attend. You must attend both days to receive credit, and there will be a 1 HR lunch break from 12-1 pm, MST (12 CEUs).
