Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) 2-day Workshop

| Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) is the only evidence-based program that assists families who are challenged by addiction. It uses non-judgmental and non-confrontational techniques and principles. CRAFT is a culturally sensitive program that works with families to positively influence the behavior of a person with an active addiction. The program emphasizes learning new skills to cope with old problems. Some components include how to stay safe, understand the function of the addiction, and teach concerned significant others how to influence healthier behaviors in their loved ones, increase personal self-care, and improve relationships. CRAFT research has shown that almost 7 out of 10 people who use the program get their substance users to attend treatment. CRAFT has been developed, researched, and implemented with diverse populations, relationships, and substances. This training is designed for behavioral health care providers. This online Oct. 21st and 22nd training, 9 am-4 pm (both days), requires a working camera and microphone to attend, and you must attend both days to receive CEUs. There will be a 1 HR 12-1 pm lunch break, MST (12 CEUs). |
