| This 2-day online training is focused on the Adolescent – Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA): a comprehensive behavioral program for treating substance-abuse problems with persons ages 12-24. It is based on the belief that environmental contingencies can play a powerful role in encouraging or discouraging addictive behaviors. Consequently, it utilizes social, recreational, familial, educational, and vocational reinforcers to assist clients in the recovery process. Its goal is to make a sober lifestyle more rewarding than the use of substances. A working camera and microphone are required to register for this training, and the training will include a 1HR (MST) noon lunch break on both days. (12 CEUs) |
