SUMMARY:Working with Adolescents: Trauma and Substance Use
DESCRIPTION:This training is designed for behavioral health providers working with youth ages 13-24 who are struggling with mental health challenges\, substance use or abuse\, and co-occurring trauma. Unique challenges of how trauma and substance abuse manifest in adolescent daily life will be considered\, and clinical approaches that work well with this population will be explored. A working camera and microphone are required\, and a 1 HR lunch break will be from 12 pm -1 pm MST. (6 CEUs).
