DESCRIPTION:Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or ‘DBT’ is a therapy that was originally created for difficulty in managing mood and personality disorders. It is now an evidence-based practice that assists clients with mood\, personality\, anxiety\, addictive\, and trauma-related disorders. DBT provides clients with skills that promote emotional regulation\, distress tolerance\, and interpersonal effectiveness. This training will give participants an overview of this approach and its different applications. This 2-day online training will teach participants how to adapt this modality to serve adolescent clients. (12 CEUs)
