DESCRIPTION:Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or ‘DBT’ is a therapy that was originally created for difficulty in managing mood and personality disorders. It is now an evidence-based practice that assists clients with mood\, personality\, anxiety\, addictive\, and trauma-related disorders. DBT provides clients with skills that promote emotional regulation\, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. This 2-day training will provide participants with an overview of this approach and its different applications. (12 CEUs)
