DESCRIPTION:This ONLINE training introduces Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or ‘DBT’ – a therapy originally created for difficult-to-manage mood and personality disorders. It is now an evidence-based practice that assists clients with mood\, personality\, anxiety\, and addictive and trauma-related disorders. DBT provides clients with skills that promote emotional regulation\, distress tolerance\, interpersonal effectiveness\, and mindfulness. This training will provide participants with an overview of this approach and its different applications. A working camera and microphone are required to register for this training. (12 CEUs)
